EDRM worked closely with the Burlington Baptist Church leaders and their broader community to develop a proposal for a new Burlington Community Hub.
The proposal includes the complete internal refurbishment of the existing grade II listed church hall building to include the conversion of the existing roof space. On the adjoining site, a new build, two-storey extension is proposed and this will accommodate a community coffee shop at street level with community spaces above.
EDRM submitted a planning and listed building pre-application enquiry and this received very positive feedback from the local authority. The project is now seeking funding to develop a full planning application.
